Dr. Stephanie Duer, Ed.D., LPC-S, partners with Texas school districts, education service centers, law enforcement agencies, and community organizations to translate mental health research into practical, actionable strategies for lasting systemic change.

Her career bridges the worlds of mental health and education, with experience spanning community mental health, residential treatment, schools for adjudicated youth, and public education. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, certified school counselor, and certified trainer in Youth Mental Health First Aid, Psychological First Aid, TIER Interconnected Systems Framework, and Trauma-Sensitive Schools. Through engaging presentations grounded in professional expertise and real-world experience, Dr. Duer equips professionals with the knowledge and tools to support mental health, build resilience, and create trauma-informed environments where people can thrive.

She has also been a guest speaker at numerous Education Service Center conferences on topics such as trauma-informed care, school safety, and mental health.

Drawing on her expertise in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support, school counseling and mental health programming, Dr. Duer helps schools build sustainable plans that address the mental health needs of all students across Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 supports. Her consulting is grounded in current research and aligned with Texas legislation.
