SPEAKING FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT

Mental Health Training & Keynotes for Texas Law Enforcement

Trauma-informed strategies for officers, school resource officers, and the families who stand behind them, from a mental health professional who is also a law enforcement wife.

For officers, SROs, agencies, and their families

Dr. Duer is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and a proud law enforcement wife. Together with her husband, she frequently presents on mental health and wellness within the law enforcement community, bringing both professional expertise and a family's view of the job. She has keynoted the Texas Association of School Resource Officers' Annual School Safety Conference three times and spoken at the National Association of School Resource Officers conference.

Her presentations explore a wide range of topics, from the lasting impact of the job on officers and their families to practical strategies agencies can implement to support wellness. For School Resource Officers (SROs), she focuses on strengthening collaboration between law enforcement and school counselors and equipping officers with trauma-informed strategies to build safer schools and prevent school violence.
